When our friends at RAD London required a high level 360° panorama to showcase the features of a Solar Farm for their client Conergy, they commissioned us to create the work.

Mounting our camera on a Seitz Roundshot VR drive atop a Nodal Ninja carbon fibre pole provided a view over the solar farm from a height of 20ft. To ensure all relevant aspects of the solar farm were captured, we worked closely with the client on-site and enabled them to direct the shoot by providing a live view from the camera to a tethered iPad.

Back in the studio, the 360° panorama was stitched and retouched to RADs specification, and delivered to the client along with a series of still photographs to illustrate the equipment, fixtures and features at the solar farm. RADs developers incorporated the panorama and still photographs into a custom designed user interface, complete with pop-up information points detailing how the solar farm generates and delivers electricity to the National Grid.
