Goldsmiths’ Hall 360° Virtual Tour

Based at the fabulous Goldsmiths’ Hall near St. Paul’s Cathedral, The Goldsmiths’ Company is one of the Great Twelve Livery Companies of the City of London.

To help market Goldsmiths’ Hall as a commercial venue for corporate events, functions and filming, Pan 3Sixty was commissioned to produce a 360° virtual tour of the Hall’s five main rooms and Staircase Hall entrance. Incorporating ultra high resolution 360° panoramas into a custom designed user interface, the virtual tour showcases Goldsmiths’ Hall in all its grandeur. Viewers can zoom in on the finest of details in each room, whilst pop-up labels highlight items of interest such as architectural details and historical facts about each room and it’s decor.

With the 360° virtual tour only needing to attract one additional booking for in order to pay for itself, the tour has provided The Goldsmiths’ Company with a fantastic return on their investment.

2019 Updates

The Goldsmiths’ Hall virtual tour was recently updated with a new user interface and a Gigapixel panorama of the Livery Hall to showcase the recent renovations. Stitched from 910 individual photographs, this super high resolution 360° panorama enables the viewer to explore the Hall in exquisite detail. From the lettered frieze revealed during the renovation, though to the exhibits in the Contemporary Buffet Plate on display in the alcove, every detail of this magnificent Hall is revealed for all to see. Be sure to zoom in and explore the detail for yourself.

Throughout its eight years online, the virtual tour has proved to be consistently popular with viewers of the Goldsmiths website, providing more than 20,000 unique visitors with an immersive and engaging view of this unique building.
