The porch was rebuilt during the 1990 restoration project and the walls lined with flints and shells. On the rear wall (facing the wooden door), the builders created a face made of shells and an old clay pipe (top right hand corner). A small coloured piece of the Berlin Wall was also placed in this wall above the arched door to the passage.
