Cubic VR - coming 2002
We will soon be offering the latest in
QuickTime VR - Cubic VR. The 360º Cubic panorama not only enables
the viewer to see through 360º horizontality but also 180º
vertically, as compared to 85º for our standard panoramas or 130º
for those with an extended vertical field of view (or vfov). The
added vertical field of view makes the 360º Cubic panorama ideal for
architectural & interior design work, aircraft interiors, yacht
interiors and other situations where space is limited.
Prior to Cubic VR, a number of systems
enabled the production of panoramas with a 360º by 180º view, but
they were aimed at the lower end of the VR market where image
quality was sacrificed in order to reduce the production time. As
such, they were not something we were prepared to offer. With the
advent of Cubic VR, we look forward to offering an exciting
extension to our current services of a quality that our customers
have come to expect from Pan 3Sixty.
